it's so nice to work with friends. we have a lot of fun together. we do love it here in this new mexico desert. i like how hot it is, dry heat is so much better than sticky humidity. i've noticed that i used to post a lot more pictures of fun things we would do, ever since we got our dslr camera we get a bit lazier taking pictures. it's not really an easy or convenient camera to slip in our back pocket. so i finally hauled the camera to our work barbecue this morning because it's something we do weekly (if the boys aren't out of town). josh (our office manager) usually makes us the yummiest food... he is so creative in the kitchen. the pool is fabulous because it's the perfect temperature for me (big baby). i wish summer would just last forever. oh and i put up a picture of a road runner because i've been waiting to see one and i finally did today. beep! beep!

Oh my cute little Ruby pig just went for a jump from one chair to the other and missed. Bless her heart she just ate it pretty hard!..what I meant to say is the three of us should go to lunch. I'm sorry your hubbie is working so far away! Oh that sounds horrid. That breaks my heart for you! She's squealing now. Gotta go.

i love your outfit in this post. and i was actually just bad mouthing salt water sandals the other day and saying how i don't think i could ever wear them again because i had a brief period where i brought them back in 8th grade, but you're making me think twice. your entire ensemble is pure perfection for hanging out at a bbq around the pool :).

I have been at Dave's house in CA all week with no internet, so it was fun to catch up on your blogs. I know what you mean about the bigger camera. Sometimes I still tuck my small camera in my purse and take it along for connivence. Grandma Barnes and Nicole came down for a visit and everyone was exhausted by the end of the week. All the old wall paper is now down, overgrown vines (LOTS of them) removed from the house, oak trees trimmed, water damaged being fixed, and some new wallpaper, tile, and sink tops ordered. Wade and Dawn and Tanner even came for a visit, so it was a good week. Hoping you are feeling better and life is back to normal. Love you guys!!

You are so sweet Brittany! You are going to be a great momma!! You always look amazing and I wish I could dress like you. I hate the thought that, dare I say it-WINTER is on it's way. (especially since it starts a little early in Rexburg, like usually October early) Jeff keeps telling me that I am going miss the rest of summer and fall because I keep complaining about how close winter is.
