"when i am old, i will NEVER spend time describing a chocolate cake to someone."

when is was a young, i remember listening to my mom and aunt talk about food like they dreamed about it at night. they would talk about dessert from here or the chicken from there. i remember thinking "when i am old, i will NEVER spend time describing a chocolate cake to someone." but it was only yesterday that i was describing these "tempura cheese-stuffed artichokes" that grant and i had the other day. my mouth is watering as i type this. i mean i can't even describe them because i just don't even know what words to use. sometimes, all i want is a slice of tomato. with balsamic vinegar and some feta. (what?!? i have hated tomatoes my whole life!) i put avocado on everything too and i order calamari whenever i get the chance. my parents still can't believe that picky brittany eats squid. i'm sure a lot of it has to do with grant, teaching me not to be afraid. but who would have thought though right? i heard that your taste buds change every 7 years. ? but some things never change, i love me some indian, japanese or thai food but mexican still hits that spot. and bread? mmmmm i will devour any kind of bread you put in front of me. although i still think squash is yucky.

It is pretty crazy what we come to like after hating it for so long. I can actually eat most onions now after hating them my whole life... crazy stuff I tell you!

Hahaha I remember you telling me all the time that your mom and aunts or whoever would sit and talk about food. Funny how you change over time huh. Preston has done the same for me as Grant has for you.. isn't it so much better liking so many different things?!! And I swear, anything to do with any kind of bread, cake, donuts, cookies, etc... I seriously can't control my love for it. ha.

And yes, Cohen was wearing the cute little Gap onsie you gave me. I LOVE it. The material and quality is just so much better than the cheap ones that come like 5 in a pack.
