Reporting LIVE from our Nation's Capital...

Yes folks, we are now living in the DC area. We like it here. We are having a blast with all the Platinum peeps and have made some excellent friends. We live in a great area and we love our little apartments. This is the view from our mini balcony... I'm not gonna lie...I spend a LOT of time down there. It feels like a resort.

Grant and I have the mornings and late nights together. We are always eager for Sundays to come. He is usually working 10 hour days in weather that's had mood swings since we've arrived, usually with oodles of crazy HOT sun or wild and frightening thunderstorms. He's doing very well though. He is working very hard and doing it with such a positive attitude... he's making me so proud!

Even though we don't get as much time together as we'd like... we are still managing some good DC time every once in a while. We obviously plan to do more but it gets tricky with the work schedule. I love DC. We love DC. The history surrounds you everywhere and the buildings are amazing.

Walking in the city, this is.... Grant being Grant.

The 7th President of the United
 States...Mr. Andrew Jackson.

I went with the other Platinum "Wives" (ha) to DC when we first got here. It was a fun trip.

Except for the part at the end where the metro made me barf. For some reason...I just can't do the metro. Ugh... thinking about it now makes my stomach feel yucky.
