a wedding on the beach

this last weekend we spent in california. grant's brother jordan was getting married and we were all so excited. jordan and christene have been dating for years so this was much anticipated. i've always wanted to go to a wedding on the beach and fortunately it was just how i imagined! GORGEOUS! jordan and christene's dog "blue" is such a good dog, he was their ring bearer. they had a "dia de los muertos" mexican theme, which was awesome. the flower girls were in little white mexican dresses with bright colored flowers all over. christene changed into a fun salsa mexican dress at her reception and i loved it. the first thing she said when she saw me was... "brittany! i'm wearing TWO dresses!" ha. i love her. i am so happy to have a new sister-in-law. we've spent lots of time together over the years. she and jordan were also in haiti with us this past february. they are the perfect match and definitely best friends. it was so good seeing family and getting caught up with everyone. oh and between all the wedding events, we were able to catch some time at the san diego zoo. i LOVE the san diego zoo! i always forget how big it is. i could watch those sweet meerkats for hours. what cutie pies.
