So this weekend we escaped the monotony of the summer sales schedule (working everyday til 10 pm) and on Sunday we headed to Virginia Beach. We drove down with our good friends Troy & Teri and we were on the beach by 11. Troy served a mission there and so he knew the area well. We had a blast! It was nice to see the guys not worrying about work and just being boys. They wasted no time and bought some boogie boards and were riding the waves before we even laid our towels out! Teri and I had fun in the water too... but were gagging whenever the water got in our mouths.
After some fun out there in the water, we all started building a sand castle. Actually... more like a sand fortress. We were all pretty proud of the turnout.
After some more time in the ocean and playing in the sand we headed to the main strip right on the beach to check out some shops and grab a bite to eat. Grant and I found some pretty sweet ROCK STAR shades.

That night we saw "Get Smart" and then ate at Macaroni Grill. We didn't want the day to end! We had a great time with Troy and Teri, we like them a lot. Its been a lot of fun to grow close with the other couples out here.
Life is good. :)
P.S. Virginia Beach.. expect us again soon!

Ok... Britt.. we used to live in Virginia Beach back when I was a wee little one... We went to that beach every saturday! Oh my gosh I totally miss it!! I WANT TO COME OUT AND VISIT!!!!! I'm so glad you had fun!
