Crafty Britt

So I went to this on Saturday --------->  :)
I was so excited to go, I love this sort of stuff. It's funny to think back and remember the sort of styles that we used to see at Fair events like this. There were over 70 vendors (local designers) at this extravaganza. So many booths. Everything was handmade. This Craft Fair was definitely more on the Indie side. (also I was surrounded by hippies) (but I like hippies) And I like Indie... but only so much. My personal style, well, I hope nobody would describe it using the word Indie, but I do enjoy a few pieces here and there. It makes me feel more cultured.

Anywho some booths were totally intriguing. Like this one.
Absolutely amazing, all jewelry made from stainless steel nuts and nails.

I was scared to take a lot of pictures because I didn't want any of the designers thinking that I was going to copy their new spruce inventions... but I did happen to snap photos of the booths that I didn't particularly fancy. Please look hard at these photos. The one on the left... happen to be lamps. With weird wooden people. Its really interesting learning about the hobbies people have. But the one on the right is so much better. Yes, you are looking at SUSHI. hahahahaha. Fake like stuffed animals... I mean stuffed FOOD. (What the ?!?!?!??) You can see the sushi rolls, wasabi and ginger. So unearthly. I just don't understand the point?

After having a good successful shop, I realized that I was paying for uniqueness. Not quality. But I still had a lot of fun and look forward to finding more fun events like this!

I haven't been to a craft fair in such a long time. Stuffed food? Where do people come up with this stuff?
